When you check a VIN, your browser sends it directly to NHTSA's public vPIC service to decode it. We don't receive, store or sell the VINs you enter. A VIN identifies a vehicle, not a person.

The deduction calculator runs entirely in your browser. The figures you type aren't sent to us.
